Softball News & Updates<p>

We Made It!<p>

Yesterday was our last game for the first half of the season. Starting players 
were Juan at first, Mary at second, Lela at third, Chuck at shortstop, Don at
Outfield, Alex at Outfield, Jeff at Outfield, Donna was rover, Mark was Catcher
and I was Pitcher. Jr and Joe showed up around the 3rd inning and played 
catcher and outfield. Mary & Donna were on loan to us from the Maulers and
Chuck is our newest player. We lost the game 15-6 and our overall standing for
the the first half was 3-7.<p>

New Schedule<p>

Everyone should have received a new schedule for the second half of the season. 
Our first game will be on Wednesday, July 10 against the Free Spirits. We have 
four games scheduled in July and four more games will be scheduled in August.<p>

Viva Las Vegas!<p>

The trip down to Las Vegas is this weekend. Lela, Alex and Don will be 
going with Jeff and Jr & friend, and myself will be going with Joe. We are 
planning on leaving after lunch on friday. Richard and Lourie will leave after 
work and meet us there. It is not to late to join us for a fun filled weekend, 
tentative plans for the weekend are:

For the BBQ I will buy Carne Asada, Chicken and Tortillas with the Homer's 
funds ($60). I will be making a list for side dishes and drinks. Let me know 
what you want to bring. There will a kitchen and kitchen stuff at the condo.
