In what could only be called the "Revenge of the Shellfish", the Crawdads put the clamps on the HOMERS, 24-7. The Crawdads scooted away to an early lead and then just drifted home to an easy win. The line score:

The HOMER roster was filled with some old salts and some energetic newcomers -
who we will hopefully see again at future games. The starting line-up consisted
of: Don (of), Jeff (of), Jeanie (3b), Michael (1b), Tim (ss), Charlene (of),
Ron (p), Laurie (2b), and eventually Russ (of). The B-league contingent of
Richard, Amy, and Jesus arrived later but were unable to help the HOMERS get
their heads above water.Don provided the only HOMER homer as lead-off hitter in the first inning - the offense was mostly downhill from there.
There are two HOMER games next week to make up for the rain-outs from earlier in the season. The games are on Wednesday and Thursday and both are at John Muir High School. Please let Richard or Jeff know if you will not be able to make either of these games.
Also, Richard should be able to distribute the schedule for the second half of the season at Wednesday's game.
