The Homers lived up to their namesake and topped the 100 home runs for the first time. Nine players set careers highs. Ron had a career year with 34 home runs, and averaged nearly 2 home runs a game by homering in 16 of the 18 games played. Steve in his first full season as a Homer cranked out 16 home runs. Tony also had 16 home runs, and his 3rd consecutive season of 15 home runs. Scott and Rich set personal marks with 10 and 9 home runs, respectively. Richard, despite missing some games to vacation and a broken finger, had 7 home runs. John Chang hit 4 home runs in only 3 games during Richard's absence.
